New front door? It’s not too late… yet!

If your Fall To Do List, included replacing the front door, it’s not too late… yet!  Mine will be replaced in the upcoming weeks and I’m looking forward to an updated and fully-functioning front door.  One that doesn’t drag on our tile floor and will keep us cozy, and heat efficient, all winter long.

To expedite the process, I selected a door already in stock and ready to ship.  Our pre-finish department will paint it prior to shipping so I won’t have to worry about finishing it myself in cold weather.  My main entry faces south and does not include a roof overhang or vestibule to protect it from the elements.  With that in mind, I eliminated a wood door from my list of options.  Instead, the door will be a fir grain textured fiberglass door with a three-quarter light.  The glass size was an important consideration because there is not enough space to the left or right of the entry to include sidelights.  A three-quarter light on the door will provide access to the warm, sunny exposure and by including a three-point lock; I won’t have to compromise on security.

Here are just a few of the many in stock options, no matter the style of your home; there is one for every house style.

If you’re not up to the challenge, (like me), your neighborhood lumberyard can help you find a local professional to install your new entry system.  Call, “the guy.” And if he needs a few pointers, we have a handy-dandy installation video on our YouTube channel.  It is a step-by-step demonstration of how to install any one of our Acclimated Entry Systems, which consist of the strongest, best suited Endura Force 5 door surround components for our sometimes arctic climate. Bring it on, Old Man Winter!
