Housing First Minnesota



Members subscribe to a defined code of ethics, and all of our builders conform to Minimum Performance Standards for construction and business practices. All builder and remodeler members are licensed through the state of Minnesota and must comply with the rules, regulations, and continuing education requirements set by state statute. Certified since 1991.

West Central Builders Association

A trade association made up of professionals in the building trades. Members include residential builders, remodelers, subcontractors, suppliers, banks, accountants, real estate professionals, developers and other companies that work in the building industry.

Home Builders Association of the Sioux Empire

The HBASE serves and represents our members who are affiliated with the building and remodeling industry in the Sioux Empire.The HBASE promotes home ownership and quality housing through positive relationships between our members and the community. The association provides members opportunities to enhance professionalism through communication, educational opportunities and social activities.

National Fenestration Rating Council
NFRC has developed and operates a uniform national rating system for the energy performance of fenestration products, including windows, doors, skylights, and similar products. Certified since 2007.

National Association of Home Builders

NAHB is a trade association that helps promote the policies that make housing a national priority. Since 1942, NAHB has been serving its members, the housing industry, and the public at large. Certified since 1991.

Sioux Valley Hoo Hoo Club
The International Order of Hoo-Hoo is one of the oldest industrial fraternities in  the United States. It’s a unique lumberman’s fraternity.

U.S. Green Building Council
USGBC is a community of member companies and organizations of all sizes, in every sector of the industry. They and their employees drive everything we do as we work toward green buildings for everyone within a generation. Member since 2012.

American Society of Interior Designers

Minnesota & Nebraska/ Iowa Chapters
A community of people — designers, industry representatives, educators and students — committed to interior design. Through education, knowledge sharing, advocacy, community building and outreach, we strive to advance the interior design profession and, in the process, to demonstrate and celebrate the power of design to positively change people’s lives. American Institute of Architects

AIA has been the leading professional membership association for licensed architects, emerging professionals, and allied partners since 1857. AIA serves as the voice of the architecture profession and the resource for our members in service to society. Affiliated since 2012.

World Millwork Alliance

WMA is a wholesale distribution association.  Our alliance is dedicated to the progression and prosperity of the millwork industry, including the support of a highly skilled workforce. We engage in advocacy efforts on behalf of our member-businesses, fostering a united millwork trade community that delivers innovative products and services for the benefit of the millwork industry as a whole.

Central Minnesota Builders Association

A nonprofit local trade association affiliated with the Builders Association of MN and the National Association of Home Builders.

North Dakota Retail Lumberman's Association

The primary function of the North Dakota Retail Lumberman’s Association is to hold an annual state convention and building products show, according to the Association’s Constitution and Bylaws.
