You take careful care and consideration to choose woods and finish colors that reflect the architectural style and character of your home, but it is also important to consider some of the components of your doors and millwork package that can also affect those selections. Your hardware components can enhance or deter from the beauty of the selections you’ve made. As such Bayer Built has been busy updating our selection of hardware components to bring you a wider selection of options in order to make your entry system the perfect match for you. We are proud to now offer Nobilus and FSB hinges, handle sets and more (see our How Many Doors Are In Your House blog for more details) and to offer a Walnut Sill option.
Our Z-Series Adjustable Sill is just one of the many premium components that make up an Acclimated Entry System, and while this new option takes nothing away from the performance of the sill it does provide a new option for those homeowners looking to complement popular darker stains and finishes. Our sills are made up of all-composite substrates and synthetic caps and nosing preventing rotting, warping and deteriorating over time. A high dam and dual seal overlap cap provide a barrier against the elements and prevent damage to the sill. Z-Series Sills are standard on all Acclimated Entry System units (with the option of an Oak or Walnut finish).
