Rough Openings
If you’re replacing a door, correctly measuring the opening will be essential. The below guides are applicable to several types of application.
RO = Rough Opening
UD = Unit Dimension (Outside of jamb to outside of jamb measurement) UD may vary 1/16" +/-
BM = Outside of Brickmould to outside of brickmould measurement. The Clad Inswing dimension is calculated using the Crownline brickmould profile. For Classic brickmould, add 2-9/16" to the Clad Inswing UD. BM may vary 1/16" +/-
Spread Mulls - To calculate RO when using a spread mull, add the width of the spread mull(s) to the appropriate rough opening.
