Summary:

As the Maintenance Technician, you'll be troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventative maintenance of automated woodworking machinery including, but not limited to: CNC, saws, conveyors, finishing equipment, etc.

• What You'll Be Doing:

  • Troubleshooting and repairing electrical, pneumatic, fluid, and hydraulic systems
  • Completing maintenance requests and assigned work orders in a timely fashion
  • Assisting in new machinery implementation; including line setup, dust collection installation, plumbing, wiring, and operator training
  • Performing facility maintenance of steel siding/roofs, overhead doors, loading docks, bathrooms, offices, lighting, etc.
  • Repairing and maintaining lawn mowers, skid loaders and heavy equipment
  • Assisting in welding/ fabricating custom parts and machinery

• What Would Make You a Great Fit:

  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions and problem solve under little to no supervision
  • Strong communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team setting
  • Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and CAD drawings
  • General electrical knowledge of AC, DC, and Servo systems; PLC programming experience preferred
  • Eagerness to learn more about production machinery and build technical skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing work schedules (come early/stay late if needed)
