Summary:

Troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance of automated woodworking machinery including, but not limited to: CNC, saws, conveyors, finishing equipment, etc. This position is currently offering a $1,500 sign on bonus.

• What You'll Be Doing:

  • Measure, cut, and dress cables and conduit runs for machine usage
  • Follow electrical prints and maintain/ update electrical BOMs for machinery
  • Wiring and testing sensors, valve banks, servo drives, motors, PLCs, and PLC components
  • Fabrication, wiring and electrical testing of custom-engineered electrical panels
  • Run wiring to custom-engineered machinery, perform initial power-on and I/O tests
  • Redline and communicate electrical issues, changes, and improvements to Electrical Engineers
  • Assist maintenance team in combining mechanical and electrical components on existing and new equipment used in the manufacturing process
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues on equipment as needed
  • Fabricate electrical panels as needed to meet required specifications
  • Assist in the process of design, fabrication, and implementation of various electrical, robotic, and automated manufacturing equipment
  Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Assist maintenance team in design, fabrication, testing, and evaluation of manufacturing processes and project completion to ensure quality product completion

• What Would Make You a Great Fit:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar trade
  • Exposure to PLCs
  • Electrical, Welding or Machining experience
  • Vision Guided Robotics - Custom & Standard Platforms
  • Data Management - Database Integration with PLC
  • UNIX configuration, shell scripting
  • Python or other related programming language
