Summary:

To diagnose and perform repairs on a variety of fleet equipment (semis, trailers, and vehicles), inspections and preventative maintenance of company equipment in a safe, timely and cost efficient manner while meeting company and DOT requirements.This position is currently offering a $1,500 sign on bonus.

• What You'll Be Doing:

  • Maintain accurate repair orders, repair history and shop records
  • Perform scheduled repairs and customization work as assigned
  • Perform routine maintenance per Standard Operating Procedures
  • Diagnose and repair issues with diesel engines, after treatment exhaust systems, hydraulics, transmissions, steering components, air conditioning and other components
  • Test and troubleshoot abs, electrical, lighting systems
  • Monitor and perform hub, axle and brake component replacement/ repair, tire replacement/ repair, suspension repair and air component troubleshooting and repair, and trailer body repair.
  • Perform minor welding or fabrication on equipment as necessary
  • Follow safety policies
  • Assist with other duties as assigned
  • Maintain a clean work and shop area

• What Would Make You a Great Fit:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • 2 years of related work experience
