Dispatcher

Summary:

This full time position is responsible for assisting with the smooth dispatching of delivery and over-the-road drivers throughout the Bayer Built service area to ensure all of our shipping needs are addressed in a professional and timely manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in delivery issue resolution
• Arrange Customer product will calls
• Set up credit pick-ups, reworks
• Take truck drivers calls
• Take customer calls about shipments
• Communicate route changes to CSD
• Back up Shipping Administrator
• Facilitate efficient deliveries
• Communication with drivers
• Distribute work orders for daily loads
• set up routes
• Coordinate freight pick-ups

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Understanding of BBW production shop paper flow
• Computer knowledge of work picks etc.
• Skills to use computer and various software packages
• Ability to establish priorities and work independently
• Must be able to multi task
• Highly organized and detail orientated

Credentials and Experience:

• High School Diploma
• Post-Secondary education preferred
• At least 1 year of dispatch experience preferred
