Cleaner / Janitor

Summary:

Complete a range of tasks to maintain a safe, clean, and desirable work space for all of our team members. These tasks include but are not limited to dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and lunchrooms, emptying garbage, and other housekeeping duties. Also responsible for assisting with supply management, inventory control, and ordering.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Empty garbage cans
• Dust
• Clean bathrooms
• Clean lunchrooms
• Scrub, wax and vacuum floors
• Order all supplies
• Housekeeping

Secondary Responsibilities

• Assist other departments when needed
• Clean up grounds

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Understanding of basic cleaning techniques and standards
• Work well with others
• Good balance
• Good reading skills

Credentials and Experience:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 2 year of related work experience

Special Requirement:

• 40 hours per week with occasional additional hours as needed
• Desired hours are Monday - Friday 2 PM to 10 PM (some flexibility may be discussed)
