When shopping for your home we know how important it is to touch and feel the product that you are contemplating buying. When buying a sofa you want to feel the fabric and sit on the cushions. When picking out countertops you want to see feel the different options and bring color samples home to match up with paint. The same is true of your millwork package. When picking out new doors you want to feel the finish and see the color in person. You want to be able to see samples of moulding profiles and wood species. This is why showrooms at your local lumber yards are so important. They offer you a chance to interact with different products before you make a purchase. Most local lumber yards will showcase not only what they stock but what’s available special order (plus they’ll usually order in a sample for you if they don’t have something on hand – not the case at most big box stores). We work hard with our dealers to keep their showrooms and displays current with a wide variety of different styles, species, colors, textures and more – so you don’t have imagine what it’ll look like you can actually see it up close.
