Grant to Fund Advanced Pre-Finish Training

Bayer Built Woodworks recently received a grant from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development for advance pre-finish training. Through this grant we will continue to focus on educating internal teams on the newest technologies and processes within the pre-finish industry. Our spray operators, pre-finish technicians, information technology, sales, and marketing teams will learn coating and wood-finishing techniques using a customized virtual-reality program offered through Dakota County Technical College. Through virtual training sessions, such as; “Virtual Spray” and “Color Development and Color Matching,” team members will gain invaluable knowledge and earn industry-recognized certification.

Bayer Built has always believed that one of our greatest assets are our team members. The knowledge and expertise they possess, and continue to foster, allow us to provide quality products and finishes we have become known for. We continually challenge our teams, to be the very best we can be, we trust this can only be accomplished through continually updating our skills and staying current with new processes and technologies. This grant will provide continued education that will improve efficiencies and processes with the aim of increasing capacity and quality throughout our pre-finish facility.
