Post-to-Post Stair Systems

A Post-to-Post stair system is the most commonly used system. In this system the handrail is mounted in between newel posts with the top of the posts projecting above the rail. This classic system may also incorporate some Over-the-Post techniques, including volutes or turnouts for a more elegant appearance.
